What is the National Screening Mechanism?
The National Screening Mechanism, or NSM, is a regulation that was passed by the Thai government in December 2019. The purpose of the NSM is to identify people who need protection in Thailand because they cannot return to their country. Although people cannot yet register under the NSM, this website is designed to provide the latest information on the regulation.
